Refund Policy

Last updated: April 2, 2026

1. Refund Eligibility

If you are not satisfied with The Quiet Room, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid charge. This applies to the first billing cycle only.

Refunds are not available for:

  • Renewals after the first billing cycle (cancel before renewal to avoid charges).
  • Partial billing periods after cancellation (access continues until the period ends).
  • Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.

2. How to Request a Refund

Paid charges for The Quiet Room are processed by Polar. Start from the billing portal linked inside the app, or use the receipt and support links from Polar checkout emails, to request help with a refund.

You can also read Polar policies at polar.sh/legal/terms and contact us at support@thequietroom.app if you are stuck.

3. Processing Timeline

Once a refund is approved, it typically appears on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

4. Free Trial

Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial of Pro features. No payment method is required during the trial, so there is nothing to refund. If you subscribe to a paid plan after your trial and are not satisfied, the refund window described in Section 1 applies to your first paid charge.

5. Still Need Help?

If you are unable to resolve a refund through Polar or the billing portal, you can reach us at support@thequietroom.app and we will help sort it out.
